Cheese Tart


Haha..weekend nie rasa cm nk wat cheese tart...sbb kakak aku dtg lepak umah aku weekend nie..sbb my hubby xde g Tganu, so aku import la si kakak nie dtg temankan aku..Then dia request nk wat cheese tart..

Yang aku riso nyer..sekali Mikael pun sama tlg wat cheese tart nie..abis dia main tepung je nti..hahah...Xpe kita try je dlu...nti kalo mjadi, aku upload gmbr dlm nie yer..

BLUEBERRY CHEESE TARTLET


Ingredients:
For Pastry Dough
250g butter
80g icing sugar
2 eggs
440g wheat flour
1 tsp vanilla essence
Method:
  1. Combine all ingredients and knead to form a dough. Let rest.
  2. Take a small portion of the dough and press into a small tart moulds.
  3. Prick the pastry using fork randomly.
  4. Bake the tart shell at 175°C till half-cooked. This depends on your oven. Mine take around 10 minutes. It will turn white when it is half cooked.
  5. Meanwhile prepare the filling.
Cheese Filling:
250g cream cheese
3/4 cup icing sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup whipping cream
1 tsp vanilla essence
Enough blueberry filling
Method:
  1. Beat cheese and egg until well combined.
  2. Add vanilla essence, egg and whipping cream.
  3. Keep whipping until the mixture became creamy.
  4. Spoon the mixture into the half baked pastry shell.
  5. Spoon blueberry filling in the middle and use a toothpick to make a swirl.
  6. Bake at 175°C around 15-20 minutes.
